Torna la rubrica dedicata agli itinerari: oggi vi presentiamo il Sentiero 16, da Vassena alla dorsale Brunate Bellagio.

Start following path n° 5. Leave your car at the parking area near the Park in San Giovanni.
(Two kilometers from the historical centre of Bellagio;can also be reached by bus – C30 Como and just in summer by boat) Cross the centre of the hamlet San Giovanni, where we recommend you to visit the Church and the Church square where you can admire the lake and enjoy the view.

For mountain bikers, Bellagio offers a challenging route, about 20 km, with an average slope of 21% points and a vertical drop of about 787 mt. The places you will go through are: P.za S. Giovanni, Perlo, Brogno, Rovenza. Cernobbio. Prada, Pra Filippo, Cascina Giacinta, Regina Pacis, Cascina Gallasco, Brogno, Neer. P.za S. Giovanni.

Starting point for this Itinerary is the hamlet of Visgnola ( 2 km for the centre) which can be reach by car or by bus ( to Lecco or C36 to Asso).It strats from Visgnola to gets into the park of Monte San Primo, passing through villages and forests, with a total climb of 785 meters uphill.

From the centre of Bellagio follow for 1 and ½ km  the coastal road towards Como (bus line C30 stop Guggiate) until you reach the village of Guggiate, where the trail 1 begins.
